Printing from laptops using UWEC wireles

Good news! Laptop users can print to the library public printers via wireless (the UWEC authenticated wireless, not the public wireless. For more on that, see http://www.uwec.edu/techservices/authentication.htm).

All they need to do is map to one of our printers:

1. Start Menu
2. Printers & Faxes
3. File > Add Printer
4. Click Next button
5. Make sure “A network printer…” is selected and click Next
6. Select “Connect to this printer…”
7. In the “Name” box, type in \\PRINTLAB\lab-ref
8. You should all four printers (single sided and duplex printers)
9. Select the appropriate printer and click next.
10. Select “Yes” that you want to use it as the printer default and click next.
11. Click Finish.
